Life in a Glasshouse are a four piece indie-rock band from Carlisle. Their use of energetic rhythms, melodic bass-lines and varied vocal styles really set them apart from others in the area.

It was a long couple of days preparing for this event, with countless run throughs and a couple of technical hitches but we feel it definitely paid off.

The event showcased the hard work each band has put in over the past year in a unique, stylish way. The show was also extremely diverse, featuring genres such as Prog-metal, Pop, instrumental and Alt-indie.

Also on the bill were Birds vs Planes, who performed a fantastic set to end the night. Keep an eye out for them: http://birdsvsplanes.tumblr.com/

Catch our next performance as part of Carlisle Music City at the Band Stand, June 5th at 3 o’clock!

Which is completely insane! But we are incredibly excited. We’ve worked hard all year with the goal of creating an album that shows all the aspects of what we can do as a band. And we’re very pleased with the work that everyone has put in to the band. Special thanks to our producers Ben Simpson, Phil Devine and Chris Little. Toni-Marie Jordan and Georgia Armstrong from our media team. Our tutors Lee Johnstone and Anna Atkinson for showing continuous support. Our musically gifted friends House of Three Hands, Touche and Jamie Henry. And really just anyone who has supported us so far!

So, we have one more practice tomorrow before the launch and we’re working on some pretty exciting stuff. See you there? https://www.facebook.com/events/117265661741484/
